Shad joined the Edgewood Art Department as faculty Spring 2002. Since then, he has taught courses in Modern Art, Eco-Design, Art of the Western World, and History of Graphic Design. Shad's BA (Piano, 1994) Lawrence University, MA (Art History, 2000) University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, and ABD (Art History/Musicology, 2005) University of Wisconsin - Madison, informs his work as a pianist, teacher, and performance artist. Shad's art installations feature sustainable design practice, multi-media (sound, video, fabric/textile), and live performance.
